Introduction
The University of Colorado (CU) High Energy Physics group is
located in the Gamow Tower of the Duane Physics Building on the
University of Colorado,
Boulder campus.
The group currently consists of
12 faculty members,
6 post-docs,
11 graduate students,
a number of undergraduates, and
a support staff.
The research interests include both Experimental and Theoretical High Energy Physics. The experimentalists are collaborators in groups including MiniBooNE, T2K, and CMS. They conduct research in such places as CERN in Switzerland and JPARC in Japan. The major research areas of the theory group include string theory and quantum gravity, lattice gauge theory, and beyond-standard model phenomenology.
